It is incredible to see the constant innovation and change that Kia has been implementing over the last few years. They have went from being an economy brand with affordable sedans to a brand that has models in a multitude of segments. Just a few short days ago at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI, Kia introduced the world to the new 2018 Kia Stinger!

The 2018 Kia Stinger is built to compete with the likes of the Audi A4 and the BMW 3-Series, but South Korean monster sports a longer wheelbase and a wider overall body. Additionally you will notice the care that Kia has taken in designing the car. The front end is long and aggressive thanks to the design in the front and the fastback rear. This all works together to create a sports sedan worth waiting for.

Underneath the hood there is a choice of two engines. The first is a 2.0L turbocharged engine that will produce 255 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. The second engine will be a 3.3L twin-turbocharged V6 engine that will give you 365 horsepower and 376 lb.-ft. of torque for plenty of fun! Both engines will be paired with an eight-speed transmission. The 2018 Kia Stinger will also come in either rear-wheel drive or a Kia first, all-wheel drive in this sedan.

The 2018 Kia Stinger is still in the works and is expected to hit showroom floors later this year. If you are interested in the new 2018 Kia Stinger come on down to Kia of West Nyack in West Nyack, NY, and our staff would be happy to answer any question in regards to this exciting new sports sedan!
