Design

This year, the Kia Sorento Hybrid comes to our lot with a fresh redesign to match the gas-only updates from last year. The changes create a more modern look while retaining a hint of off-road ruggedness. New exterior features include redesigned headlights, a tweaked grille, new wheel designs, updated taillamps, and two new exterior paint colors. The three-row SUV has room for up to six passengers and a rear cargo hold accessible through the smart power liftgate, which offers hands-free functions with a proximity sensor in the key fob. Simply stand behind the liftgate with a key fob nearby, and the liftgate will open automatically.

Inside, the interior feels premium with SynTex synthetic leather upholstery, stitched surfaces, and a blend of textured materials. The second row offers seating for two with fancy captain's chairs, and two more seats are available on the third-row bench. Fancier features you'll find on both trim levels are ambient lighting, cubby storage, and plenty of cupholders for long rides.

As a family-oriented vehicle, the Kia Sorento Hybrid provides exceptional safety technology and driver assistance features to ensure the safety of passengers and fellow motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists sharing the road. Standard features include staples like automatic high-beam headlights, forward-collision assistance, blind-spot monitor, and rear cross-detection while in reverse. The Kia Sorento Hybrid is equipped with Lane Follow Assist, which automatically keeps the vehicle centered in the lane. More features are equipped to help reduce driver distraction, such as the driver attention monitor and rear occupant alert system, which uses ultrasonic sensors to prevent vulnerable passengers like children, pets, or elderly family members from getting left behind in the vehicle.
