Before the recent eighth annual Kia Classic golf tournament at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, CA began play, Kia Motors America announced that the company had renewed its marketing association with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).
Since it's the Official Automotive Partner of the LPGA, Kia will have a presence at seven tournaments, including two major tournaments (the KMPG Women's PGA Championship and the ANA Inspiration), in addition to being the title sponsor of the Kia Classic.
In a press release, Kimberley Gardiner, director of marketing communications, Kia Motors America, commented, “Both Kia and the LPGA have experienced tremendous growth in visibility and awareness as a result of our partnership, and we are proud to extend the relationship and look forward to several more years of successful collaboration.”
